Keep Our Fridays!
The Sewickley Valley Community Fund, through a challenge grant, has restored library service on Fridays. If the community and library users donate $25,000 the Sewickley Valley Community Fund will match it with $50,000. This will enable the library to stay open every day through the first quarter of 2011. Unfortunately, the library is anticipating even more funding cuts as proposed in Governor Rendell’s 2011 preliminary budget. Please Donate Today!
Donate to The Endowment Fund
The Sewickley Public Library Endowment Committee is hard at work to secure commitments for endowment support. With the creation of this Fund, the Library will ensure its permanency in the community as a valuable and indespensable resource. Please visit the Endowment Fund Webpage to get more information on contributing to the sustainability of the Sewickley Public Library
Donate Books, CDs, DVD
The Library is pleased to accept gifts of books and other materials, with the understanding that those items that cannot be used will be disposed of at the discretion of the Librarian. Please call the library for instructions on how to donate materials.
Adopt a Genre
The Adopt a Genre Program asks you to donate funds to be used to purchase materials in your favorite genre or format. With every designated donation, the library will select materials in your requested genre. A bookplate naming you as the donor will be placed in the purchased materials. Your donation will ensure that Sewickley Public Library will be able to maintain our outstanding collection of Books, DVDs, Audiobooks, and Music CDs. Adopt a Genre Form
Memorials and Gift Books
Donors may indicate appropriate subject matter for the memorial or honoree, and the library will purchase a book on the subject and mark it with a bookplate.
