- Research Databases – Need help writing a paper about a scientist? A famous author? A current event or social issue? The library’s Research Databases have the information you need!
- Shmoop – Similar to Cliffs Notes but way more fun! Summaries and descriptions for Literature, US History, and poetry. Plus, discussion boards where you can post questions!
- Librarians’ Internet Index – Need websites for an assignment? All the websites on this page have been reviewed by librarians and given the star of approval for accuracy and quality of information. If a librarian says it’s a good resource, your teacher will too!
- Google Books & Google Scholar - Everyone loves google, right? Want to make sure you’re getting quality results when you search?Use Google Books to search the full text of all the books in google’s database. This means that google will search the entire contents of every book it has scanned in order to find your search terms! Then, when it finds what you’re looking for it will show you the pages of the book it came from! You can read the whole page!
- Google Scholar – Lets you search scholarly articles, books, and websites (often ones maintained by universities). Searching Google Scholar should return trustworthy resources!
