The Love Your Library Campaign, Mr. Suckling, and You

Love Your Library

All gifts made to Sewickley Public Library through September 30, up to a maximum of $500 per donor, will go even further thanks to matching funds provided by the Jack Buncher Foundation.

While it was announced earlier this year that our library is to receive a generous gift from Mr. Raymond Suckling, that donation has not yet arrived in full.  When the money is received, it will be used to make improvements to the library building, including relocating and renovating space for our teens, and adding more meeting and study spaces for all patrons. Help us with the planning process by taking our Love Your Library survey found on our website, on any of our computers throughout the library, or through paper copies found at the circulation desk.  Tell us what you love about your library, and what changes you’d like to see.

The library depends upon the generosity of patrons like you to keep our services and programming running each day.  Did you know it takes just over $1 million each year to keep the library operating? We depend on generous support from the Quaker Valley School District, the Allegheny Regional Asset District, the Friends of Sewickley Public Library, local partners like Masonic Village, and local library lovers like you!  Gifts can be made by clicking on the donate button on our website at www.sewickleylibrary.org or by mailing a check to the library.  All donations are tax deductible, and all donors are recognized by name in our yearly annual report.

Join the Love Your Library campaign today to show your love for Sewickley Public Library and its mission to provide lifelong learning to the Quaker Valley region.
