It’s been a year none of us could have imagined; but we at the library continue to approach it with creativity and resilience. Where there are challenges, we look for solutions, and our donors are helping to provide the resources needed to deliver our services a little differently.

This Giving Tuesday, December 1st, we’re setting a goal for 20 donors to give $2,020 in online donations on that one day in recognition of this most unusual year that has brought not just challenges, but opportunities for growth and change. You can Help to Be The Good our community needs by supporting the library with a gift of any size. Collectively, we can reach our goal. Make your gift designated to Sewickley Public Library at www.givebigpittsburgh.com.

Not familiar with Giving Tuesday? This annual global day of giving takes place each year on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving.  It’s meant to follow Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday as a time to highlight generosity to your favorite non-profit in the midst of your holiday shopping list. The local movement happens through Give Big Pittsburgh.
