Community members interested in learning more about using their Android devices attended the Sewickley Public Library’s Senior Android Phone/Tablet Club on Wednesday. This newest offering in the library’s collaborative learning sessions focuses on teaching those new to using android-based devices (such as Samsung, LG, Google Pixel, Sony phones or tablets) the basics and beyond.

The classes are designed to assist users in becoming more comfortable using their devices. They cover topics from organizing photos and contacts to downloading applications and setting up email. Each class focuses on a different, useful topic. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and follow along using their own devices.

The library offers three senior sessions monthly – the Senior Computer Club, Senior iPad/iPhone Club, and now the Senior Android Phone/Tablet Club, as well.

For more information about when the clubs meet, visit the library’s event page at https://sewickleylibrary.org/programs/ or call the library at 412-741-6920.
