Image of computerThe Sewickley Public Library is expanding our current offerings this week! In addition to the curbside pickup service that began last week, the library plans to implement limited public computer use. Starting June 9, the public can begin scheduling appointments for individual computer use.

Initially, the library will offer 45-minute timed sessions for computer use. This allows time to sanitize computer terminals after each use. Appointments are subject to availability and must be scheduled a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 10 days in advance. Users are limited to 1 appointment per day.

Computer users must follow all library guidelines regarding building entry, safety protocols and time limits. These requirements include a temperature check, answering a short health questionnaire and wearing a mask at all times while in the library building. If a person’s temperature is outside of the normal range, they will not be permitted entry. If you have traveled outside of the state, please quarantine for 14 days before scheduling an appointment (as per the Allegheny County Health Department travel guidelines).

These appointments are intended for computer use only. Other library services are not available during the session. Sessions are available Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Computer use appointments may be scheduled on our Computer Use Appointments page here or by calling the library at 412-741-6920.
