Looking for fun ways to encourage reading and learning at home or on the go? Sewickley Public Library offers Wonderbooks and WhaZoodles in the Children’s Department, giving kids more ways to explore stories, discover new interests, and enjoy screen-free entertainment.
Wonderbooks combine print books with a built-in audio player, allowing children to listen to a story while following along with the pages. With the press of a button, kids can enjoy their favorite stories again and again, without downloads or extra equipment. Once the story ends, Learning Mode offers interactive questions that help build reading comprehension and encourage conversations about what they’ve read.
WhaZoodles bring audio adventures to life for children ages 3–12. They offer a learning approach that engages children through stories, activities, physical movement, interactive games, guided meditation, and immersive nature soundscapes. With no internet connection or downloads needed, WhaZoodles are perfect for quiet time at home, family road trips, or a little entertainment on the go.
Both collections are available to borrow from the Children’s Department and lend for one week. Stop by to explore these engaging options and find a new favorite for your family!
