Tax season is here!  Sewickley Public Library is here to help connect you with tax forms and free tax prep assistance for the current tax year (to those who qualify).

Tax Forms

The Sewickley Public Library provides preprinted IRS 1040 and 1040-SR forms and instruction booklets.  These forms are available in the Print and Copy Center (first floor) while supplies last.

Additional IRS and Pennsylvania forms are available on-demand at the reference desks. Patrons can also print tax forms from library computers at the reduced price of $0.05 cents per page. Find your forms via the appropriate links below.

Free Tax Prep Assistance

There are several sites throughout Allegheny County that offer free tax prep assistance. Please note that these sites may have income level limits to qualify for assistance.

AARP Tax Aid Sites in Allegheny County – Book an appointment through their website or call 412-530-5194 to leave a message. Someone from AARP will call back to book the appointment.

Allegheny County Tax Prep – Allegheny County is offering free virtual tax preparation services for qualifying residents.

Human Services Center Mon Valley –  The FTP Program runs from mid-January to mid-April, with appointment scheduling typically starting the second week of January. To make an appointment, taxpayers should call 2-1-1 or 1-888-856-2773 after the second week of January.

Just Harvest – In-Person Tax Prep, Virtual Assistance, File Yourself (chat options and assistance provided) or drop off taxes. Book appts by calling 211 or through pa211sw.org.
