The Sewickley Public Library is proud to announce the newest members of our Advancement team, Keith Gmiter, Chief Advancement Officer, and Nancy Patterson, Advancement & Stewardship Coordinator. Our Advancement Department gives the library another avenue for growth beyond its public funding. While our operating budget is designed to sustain our essential services, the Advancement team is tasked with raising the additional resources needed to innovate, expand, and respond to emerging community needs.

Keith brings over 35 years of fundraising experience to his work in philanthropy and development. Most recently, he served as Director of Development for Allegheny Health Network’s Orthopaedic Institute and Forbes Hospital, where he focused on individual giving, building meaningful relationships with donors to advance the hospitals’ missions of patient care and medical innovation. Throughout his career, Keith has developed deep expertise in cultivating individual donor relationships, translating institutional priorities into compelling giving opportunities, and helping organizations secure the philanthropic support needed to expand their impact and advance their missions.

Nancy brings more than 25 years of experience in leadership, operations, project management, organizational development, and fundraising to her role. A longtime Edgeworth resident and supporter of the library and its mission, Nancy is passionate about strengthening community connections and advancing the library through donor engagement and meaningful partnerships.

Please join us in welcoming both Keith and Nancy to the Sewickley Public Library. To learn more about our services, our people, and our historic building that could be greatly impacted by your generosity, please reach out to the Advancement Department at 412-741-6920 x216 or advancement@sewickleylibrary.org.

Our team is here to steward your generosity to its fullest potential.
