A beloved Sewickley tradition is celebrating a big milestone! The Friends of the Sewickley Public Library will host the 25th Annual Savoring Sewickley on Sunday, November 1, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Since its debut in 2000, this popular fundraiser has brought the community together over great food while supporting the Library. This year’s silver-anniversary celebration promises an extra-special atmosphere with Sewickley Savings Bank as the presenting sponsor.

Guests can sample delicious offerings from local restaurants, including newcomers Torogoz, Scoops in Sewickley, and Sewickley Tavern, alongside longtime favorites. The evening also features the return of the beloved Tile Auction, where local artists transform pieces of the Library’s original 1923 Spanish-tile roof into one-of-a-kind works of art.

Visit participating restaurants throughout the year with the restaurant passport book. Return your completed book for a chance to win tickets to next year’s Savoring Sewickley.

Behind all the delicious bites and festive fun is a meaningful mission: supporting the Sewickley Public Library. “Each year, the event continues to grow and improve, and we are sincerely grateful for this cherished fundraiser, which helps the library balance our operating budget and keep our doors open seven days a week,” says Executive Director Ruth M. Neely. Thanks to the Friends, local businesses, sponsors, and everyone who attends, Savoring Sewickley has flourished for 25 years.

Come celebrate this special anniversary and help keep the tradition going for years to come! More details and tickets at savoringsewickley.com.
