Set your own reading goal and log your minutes between January 20 – February 28 for your chance to win great prizes.


Winter Reading 2026 Challenge Levels:

Weekly Prizes for Kids:

NEW! When you read at least 60 minutes each week, you will earn a weekly badge. Stop by the Children’s Department to select a prize from our Winter Prize Basket.
New items will be added weekly!

We’ll also have weekly prize drawings to keep your little ones motivated throughout the season. Check in the Children’s Department to see what’s up for grabs each week!

Completion Prize for Teens & Adults

Teens & Adults that complete the Winter Reading challenge by unlocking every badge will earn a custom winter reading mug! Available while supplies last.

Logging:

Once you’ve signed up, log your entries online by entering the minutes you read each day between January 20 – February 28. You can read anything whether it’s your favorite book, a blog, a magazine or newspaper, an audiobook, reading to your siblings or with your family! Remember, it’s the minutes that count for this competition. The more you read, the more chances you have to win.
