We are excited to announce the groundbreaking for a new courtyard and the refurbishment of the exterior grounds. This transformative project aims to enhance the community’s experience and provide a welcoming space for all visitors.
The renovation work is set to begin in early July and will encompass a near complete overhaul of the library’s outdoor areas, including landscaping, seating areas, and pathways. The new courtyard will serve as a tranquil spot for reading, community gatherings, and relaxation.
The library invites all community members to Save the Date for the grand opening celebration on September 25*, from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (rain date October 2). Come and explore the new features, meet fellow patrons, eat some wonderful food and celebrate the continued growth of our beloved library.
The new courtyard is being made possible by the generosity of Carol and Gary Schurman.
Stay tuned for more information about the renovations and celebrations.
