The 2020 Census is fast approaching and the U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting to fill hundreds of thousands of temporary positions across the country to assist with the 2020 Census count.
Census results are used to determine your representation in Congress, and they help inform how billions of dollars are distributed for hospitals, schools, roads, and more. Help ensure that everyone in your community is counted in the 2020 Census.
Representatives will be on hand at the library library for several information sessions about positions available for the upcoming census. To find our more about how you can become a census taker, stop by the library lobby any time during the following sessions:
- Sunday, January 12 (1:30 – 4:30pm)
- Saturday, January 25 (11:00am – 1:30pm)
Positions start at $23.50 per/hr and include the benefits of extra income, flexible hours, weekly pay, and paid training.
