Looking for some fun activities this Halloween season? We invite families to decorate a pumpkin to be part of our Booktacular Pumpkin Patch display in the library’s Children’s Department through the end of the month.
Register to pick up a pumpkin in the Children’s Department on Friday, October 14 at 10:00am. Then take your pumpkin home to decorate as your favorite picture book character. Use paint, paper, ribbons, glitter, stickers or other adornments – and of course inspiration from your favorite stories – to decorate a superb squash. (Carved pumpkins get messy fast in the library, so we recommend saving the carving for your pumpkins at home!)
Drop your decorated pumpkins off at the Children’s Department on Friday, October 21 to be included in our Booktacular pumpkin display! Pumpkins will be displayed through October 31. Please register; space is limited. One pumpkin per family, please.
