Libby by OverDrive eBook App Gets an Update
You may have noticed that OverDrive made several updates to Libby’s look and feel recently. The app that lets you access digital books, audiobooks, and magazines from the library’s collection has new enhancements and features that give readers more options!
Check out these updates:
New catalog guides
Find new catalog guides on the library home screen for quick discovery and access! Browse always available, kids, teens, magazines & more.
New filters
Find new filters for what’s new, what’s popular, what’s available, and subject listings appear at the top of the library home screen for easier browsing.
Navigation updates
Navigation at the bottom of the app is updated with new icons. (A helpful tutorial will guide returning users through the changes.)
- Spyglass icon: Search for items by author, title, subject, or keyword
- Library card icon: Go to the library’s collection
- Libby menu: Manage libraries & get help
- Bookstack: Go to your shelf to see what you have checked out & on hold
- Clock: View activity timeline
Wish list syncing
Based on popular request, Libby now supports wish list syncing with the OverDrive app and your library’s OverDrive website. If you have an active wish lists in your OverDrive account, you will be notified in the app and prompted to sync your wish list titles.
